The Integrated Design major at Parsons is a self-directed program that enables students to define their own unique pathway. The disciplinary diversity of the program will be highlighted through the various senior projects that will be exhibited online and on campus in April and May, 2021.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, every aspect of normality has been shifted. Without hesitation, all of the senior Integrated Design students took this transition to online learning as an opportunity to utilize their own personal design process in reimagined ways. The festival title, “Emergent Reflections,” eludes to how these projects stem not only from each students’ personal style and story, but also from the challenges that
have impacted us all on a global scale.
The online festival, founded by this year’s Integrated Design seniors and faculty, will be held virtually via Zoom on Thursday, April 22, 12:00-3:00 PM and on Thursday, April 29 12:00-3:00 PM. A series of talks, panel discussions and workshops are planned for those sessions. See below for detailed schedule.
